The Open Movement project is a collection of hardware and software developed under open source terms with a variety of uses in mind, including: health research, digital interaction, instrumentation, gaming and music. With a global community of users ranging from blue-chip fortune 500 companies, Ivy League universities and major health research organisations, Open Movement has fast being positioned as a set of standards.
The Open Movement repository exists as a set of sub-projects with interlinked dependancies. The major components in this repository are:

- WAX3 - A 802.15.4 based wireless streaming accelerometer
- WAX9 - A Bluetooth compatible wireless streaming IMU (accelerometer, gyro, magnetometer)
- AXi - A programmable logging IMU with haptic capability

This repository is setup to share and distribute code behind Open Movement sensors. The sensors are also available under commercial terms via our approved distributor Axivity Ltd.
