Search on iPad Disappears after open

What happened?

If you click to search, the search panel opens, but when the keyboard slides up, the input field for the search slides off the page.

Safari

iOS

Steps to produce this issue.

1. Launch iOS Safari on an iPad
2. Click into the Search field
3. Watch as input field appears, then scrolls off the page
