Enhancement

The encrypted shared prefs feature needs to support upgrading for already installed apps.

This enables a graceful transition from unencrypted to encrypted incase the app is already installed and has data. i.e. Migration to Encrypted shared prefs without having to uninstall the app.

  • Support migration/upgrading
  • Add documentation on README on how to use this new feature

QA/Testing

  • Install previous apk version
  • Install new apk without uninstalling
  • Check app works
  • Check prefs file no longer on app filesystem with PII
