Test description

The setup.json doesn't allow us to deploy vms on dedicated compute nodes with ovs installed on it.
This means we need to split the compute node from the volumedriver role.

Cover area

What area of the product is affected?

  • framework

What type of functionality was used?

  • setup

Which type of issue is this?

  • scalability

Problem that arose

There is no option to create vms on separated compute nodes.
At this moment the setup checks if the voldrv role has been configured on a node or not. If not this node cannot be used for compute.

Additional information

Setup

// Be as specific as possible

  • Nr of nodes: 6 (3 voldrv/backend and 3 compute)

  • Type of setup:
    -- Hyperscale
