Plugin Possibly Incompatible with Stream Deck Plugin

Hi there parzival-space, if you see this, I tried to add you on Discord to reach out to you to go over this, but I couldn't get a hold of you, so I'm messaging on here.

I also saw a previous discussion from last year when you were going to look into this, but I never saw a follow-up about it. I am having the same issue, as a previous poster; about OBS crashing after installing the plugin, but I am surmising it has something to do with Stream Deck.

After I uninstalled the plugin, I have had no crash issues. This is a fantastic plugin. I'd really love it to work with my current setup. I use a GoXLR as my mixer for my stream, & it feels so nice to control the toggles via both the GoXLR Utility and OBS. The crashes happen (just like the other user) when scene-switching is done after being live for a while, or sometimes immediately. It will happen when using OBS to manually switch scenes or when using Stream Deck. Please let me know if this has been resolved. I've attached some screen shots of all plugins I use (as you requested from previous poster) as well as the latest crashlog. I hope to hear back from you!

First of all, thank you for reporting this.

It's really hard for me to try to fix. I personally don't own a Streamdeck and have already tried to reproduce this problem with the Streamdeck app without success.

According to your crash log, the crash is caused by obs-streamelements-core.dll.
It is possible that this is due to an incompatibility with this plugin, but there is nothing else in the crash log that suggest that this is the case.
The crash is being caused in a file that I have no control over, so there's little to nothing I can do about it.

Maybe you try to can create a new issue at StreamElements for this.

Okay, so no worries on trying to reproduce the problem without a Stream Deck. That's understandable. Regardless, OBS crashes whether I do or do not use the Stream Deck to switch scenes. (It crashes just manually switching scenes in OBS). Now, that doesn't take away the possibility that the plugins aren't compatible (Stream Deck & yours), but I had an idea from what you said. I removed the StreamElements plugins entirely. It unfortunately still crashed. XD

Now, I can't read crash logs, but you can. Together, I think we can hone in on what might be causing the issue. That way, whatever plugin is doing it, we can notify users who are looking for this fix that it will only work for some. (I gotta lotta friends who use both GoXLR -and- a Stream Deck & a few I've told about your awesome plugin.) I'm not sweatin' about removing StreamElements, as I mostly use it for browser source stuff, so I can do without. Stream Deck is the main one I'm concerned about since it allows a lot of maneuverability as a streamer without having to mouse it. Attached are the new details! (I screencapped the "modules/plugins" from "Current Log" in OBS.)

Like I said, there is currently very little I can do to help you.
In this crash log the crash is caused by streamdeckpluginqt6.dll.

If your problem is similar to the one Bizkep was experiencing this will most likely be almost impossible for me to debug. My best guess is that my plugin tries to update a sound source that is no longer present, but I tried to mitigate this as much as possible already.
I personally use two plugins in obs, this one and Andersamas obs-asio plugin, and this has worked for me without any crashes.

You can try to test removing all plugins (except the FaderSyncPlugin) and adding them back one-by-one to see which might be the conflicting one.

If its the StreamDeck plugin, then I am sadly unable to help you.
