Unable to get playlists owned by spotify (e.g. Your Top Songs 2024)?

Using this in my code doesn't list playlists owned by spotify. Tried around for too long but couldn't figure it out. Thanks!

I have the exact same question! Since Spotify updated their API it does not work anymore. Not in the developer space and also not in services that adapt the API like n8n. And this script uses the exact same endpoint and I have no idea why it works for Exportify. I'm very confused. Did you find out?

I'm not quite sure what you guys are running in to. I can still download playlists owned by Spotify when I try it. Are you saying it mysteriously works here but not when you or other services try?

It has to be something with your token. When I use the token provided by your application I can also get all playlists. I deep-dived into this. Is your app in the Spotify Developer Portal in Development Mode? Does your redirect URL look like this: http://localhost:5678/rest/oauth2-credential/callback so probably https://exportify.net/rest/oauth2-credential/callback?

Introducing some changes to our Web API: "Effective today, new Web API use cases will no longer be able to access or use the following endpoints and functionality in their third-party applications. Applications with existing extended mode Web API access that were relying on these endpoints remain unaffected by this change."
Well, this explains why new users/projects can't get "Spotify-owned editorial playlists" anymore and why it works for existing projecs. Bummer.

@s89072 That was what I meant. But it makes no sense as my application is way older than this change. But that's probably what I asked @pavelkomarov. Our apps are in Development mode and Exportify probably has this extended mode:

That is a bummer. What do they gain from blocking third party apps' access to certain endpoints?

Yeah, my app was granted extended mode, all the way back in 2019, I think. I applied for it when I realized simultaneous users could easily overwhelm development mode's lower rate limits.
