lobby: db connection timeout

In case somebody idles for too long in the lobby, for example when in character creation, he might experience a timeout (lobby to database connection closes) and an error message shows to the client and kicks him back to main menu:
"internal db error (3)"
This is probably caused by the sql server which dropes the unused connection after a while.
