Save stops when disk is full (no error message)

We noticed this a couple of times now, but i am unsure if it can be solved.
When you try to export your generated G-code to a sd card that is close to full the interface will start exporting but hang halfway. Without any error message it just stops exporting.

Maybe generating the G-code in cache and then measuring if enough disk space is left before copying it over? Or there might be a really easy solution i don't know yet.
