3D printer brand / version + firmware version (if known)

What 3D printer brand / version are you printing on, is it a stock model or did you modify the printer, what firmware is running on your printer, version of the firmware #s

Using the default Original Prusa i3 MK3S & MK3S+ MMU2S printer profile. I have not tried printing the result to see if it is a visualization error or if the printer will try and print in the air.

Behavior

  • Describe the problem
    When colorizing a model for multicolor printing the purge tower shows a few lines in the air above the purge tower ( shown in the screenshot below ).

  • Steps needed to reproduce the problem

    • from a new project Grab the AAA_-_Bottom.stl file from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4966369
    • paint the letters AAA a different color
    • Slice the model
    • visualization of resulting sliced model shows an extra layer in the air above the purge tower.
  • Expected Results

  • Printer should not be printing in the air

  • Actual Results

Upload a PrusaSlicer Project File (.3MF) (Plater -> Export plate as 3MF for Slic3r PE 1.41.2 and older, File -> Save / Save Project for PrusaSlicer, Slic3r PE 1.42.0-alpha and newer)
Images (PNG, GIF, JPEG), PDFs or text files could be drag & dropped to the issue directly, while all other files need to be zipped first (.zip, .gz)
