Your documentation https://pydata-sphinx-theme.readthedocs.io/en/stable/index.html shows the version warning banner.

If I am not mistaken this is due to a wrong entry in switcher.json (docs/_static/switcher.json), where name has been changed to "0.15.4 (stable)" but version still says "v0.15.3".
