Instrucions to build & run on Debian-based Linux

Could you please add to your Readme instructions on how to build and run the program on Debian-based systems like Ubuntu and Mint? I'm not an expert in node, and every time I try to install I get several errors or messages saying that packages are deprecated, so I don't know if the system ode version packaged for Ubuntu/Mint is not right, or if I'm doing something wrong.
