Home Page not rendering properly

Thanks for this blog post-https://maraaverick.rbind.io/2017/10/updating-blogdown-hugo-version-netlify/. This was really helpful. Unfortunately, my home page looks like this

When I click on Read more, then it prompts to following:

I thought I might be doing something wrong with the directory structure. So, I cloned your repo and tried the same locally, and I am still getting the same error. I downgraded my Hugo version to 0.30.2. That didn't help too. Any help will be appreciated. Thank you.

I just reached the solution. Here is a pending pull request which fixes that digitalcraftsman/hugo-icarus-theme#125. Thanks for your write up @batpigandme.
