Add node / edge doesn't change the graph

Describe the bug

i'm trying to add a create wizard fro node / edge
but after i add the node / edge with the add node / edge function
form the Graph Canvas Ref the graph stays the same

Steps to Reproduce the Bug or Issue

add node with the add node function

Expected behavior

that the graph will extend by node
