Create a simple frontend design using Figma+ primer components (to help expedite the design creation).

Acceptance Criteria:
A design is created which gets approved by @AndrewBabbitt97 or Rob.

@Slygecko we may want to look at the current Medulla to see what has been done and retrieve feedback from Rob on what he wants improved or changed to match his liking.

In addition to looking at the current Medulla, we will need to look at other designs we saw in the other low code platforms and adapt that into our design.

So far I have noticed multiple designs. Either consolidate the different phases of app creation, or separate it out.

By separate out, I mean there are different complete pages that are disconnected for the workflow builder, form designer, and database designer. Users will go through those pages differently.

By consolidate, Quixy was a good example of this. They had a whole flow of going from different phases of app creation which was holding your hand while creating the app.

We can use primer components in the figma under this button:

@AndrewBabbitt97 these are the initial designs I was working on for the app creation process. Let me know what your thoughts are. While I wait, I will work on the workflow actions now.

I will work on a dashboard part of it once I finish the app creation process.

For the dashboard, I want a dashboard or home page that shows what apps there are, users, datasources, database tables, permissions, etc.

For the app creation process, it is listed out in the navigation tab. I am still looking into a database design and seeing how that integrates with the app itself.

I do want to reiterate that this design is very bare bones. For example, we will polish all the element icons and fonts a lot more to make it a more uniform format later down the road. Just doing this so we can establish a design to get more issues out of it.

Notes from discussion from @AndrewBabbitt97 :

  • Import primary library and octicons library (Need to create an account for figma)
  • Do not need button next and back
  • Data mapping from custom UI to DB, or DB to form to generate a standardized UI
  • Add a toggle switch between UI view and yaml view of the app designer
