Android options?

I have family members with Android. I know the reader can just read normal NFC card and I can use the ID to unlock. Of course I also know that Apple HomeKey itself won’t work in Android

but, is it possible with normal NFC somehow? What’s the best way to give android family members access on their phones?

There is Google Smart Tap which is the closest thing to Homekey on Android until we have Aliro but I haven’t explored that yet as I don’t own an Android phone with NFC.

Best option right now until a process is implemented into the project would be an hce app like Smart Card Emulator that could emulate a tag.

If I’m not mistaken some passes from the Google Wallet could also be used unless they are using a random UID, I haven’t really looked into the nfc stuff on Android since I don’t have an appropriate device for this.

I tried the SmartCardEmulator but unfortunately it seems it also generates random UIDs. I asked on the project page if I am missing a setting somewhere.
