DevTools Window crashes/turns blank when Refreshing in Pop-out Window

With the newer version of Redux DevTools, when I pop it out to a separate window rather than having it docked in Chrome, whenever the browser refreshes, it crashes and leaves the screen blank. I can right-click and go to "Reload", but that requires I select my instance again. This is a huge disappointment as I really prefer to have it as a separate window. Does anyone know if there is a workaround, fix, or if this is being resolved in a future patch?
