Can polar code be used with MIMO now? I've searched a lot, it seems that in 5g nr polar code can not be used with MIMO, there's only 1 antenna port for polar code right?

Hello.

I think you are correct for the PUCCH, PDCCH and PBCH channels. As far as I understand, these channels are only ever mapped to a single layer and so use only a single antenna port. But this could change in a future version of the standard.

But some of the polar encoded UCI is multiplexed with the data on the PUSCH channel. This is mapped to multiple layers and onto multiple antenna ports. I would suggest that you might like to look into this in greater detail.

Take care, Rob.
