New version release

Is it possible to release new version ? Looks like there are some new fixes, after latest version release, and python3 support.

I there a chance that a new version will be released soon? I'm tinkering with the clock functions which aren't included in 0.3 - therefor I would be quite thankful.

Out of curiosity, what's the advantage of an official release compared to install directly from the repository?

Especially for tinkering.
