This repo is where I store my dotfiles.

To set up on a new machine:

git clone --bare https://github.com/samshadwell/dotfiles.git $HOME/.cfg
alias config='/usr/bin/git --git-dir=$HOME/.cfg/ --work-tree=$HOME'
config checkout
config config --local status.showUntrackedFiles no

For posterity, here's how I set this up the first time:

git init --bare $HOME/.cfg
alias config='/usr/bin/git --git-dir=$HOME/.cfg/ --work-tree=$HOME'
config config --local status.showUntrackedFiles no
echo "alias config='/usr/bin/git --git-dir=$HOME/.cfg/ --work-tree=$HOME'" >> $HOME/.zshrc
