Valkyrie app automatic display of Var # in app?

Quick question. I am making a MOM scenario where I want players to be able to check in the items section how much money they've collected (I have a VAR assigned that adds coins to player totals). Is there an easy code I can use to have the app display the total number of coins players have? I tried {c:(varname)} but it didn't work.

Any suggestions or is this not something the app can do?
