I have already read the issue #72

One things that's adds delay to my workflow is to manually select the location to the gif file.

Adding the option to auto-saving the gif at provided location on converting can be helpful.

Something like user settings where we can set the default location.

Can you describe your use-case? Why do you need a default location? I'm asking as how I use it I don't even need "Save As" at all, as I just share it right away by dragging and dropping the thumbnail.

Can you describe your use-case?

  1. Auto-saving the gif at default location helps in such a way that after converting the file and closing the gifski app, should not interrupt the converted file since it's already saved to local storage.
  2. We can drag and drop the file directly to the gifski icon in dock without first opening it and selecting the settings and after the file is converted, quit the app, use hand-gesture to show desktop, drag-and-drop the file (I think this is the quickest workflow).

Why do you need a default location?

As mentioned in the issue description, selecting the location to save the file every-time can be bit time consuming.

I'm asking as how I use it I don't even need "Save As" at all, as I just share it right away by dragging and dropping the thumbnail.

I wasn’t aware of that feature 😅
