Plain text paste from documentation duplicates contents #1502

I added the plain text module example from here

However it results in the editor contents being duplicated on paste

Steps for Reproduction

Visit https://codepen.io/anon/pen/WOrXZX?editors=0111
Paste something that would normally be pasted as HTML (I use VSCode colored editor contents)

Expected behavior:
It should paste the clipboard contents once every time

Actual behavior:
It pastes once as expected but the next paste is duplicated and so on

Platforms:
Chrome 58, Ubuntu

Version:
Quill 1.2.5
