Firmware flashing

Sorry to bother you with an absolute newbie question, but how to install the firmware?
Normally I get a hex-file which can be flashed using the CUBE Programmer, but attached to your git I wasn't able to find it.
I'm an absolute beginner, when it comes to using the CUBE IDE (I'm more the "hardware guy" anyway) ... .
Do I have to import a file into the IDE and complie it and if yes, which one (you see, an absolute noob question).
I worked with the Arduino IDE, which is probably the complementary to Fritzing on the hardware side, if you work with the Altium Designer ;) .
I built the hardware already and just need to flash the STM (got an ST-link V3 here).

I would be very thankful for every tip/hint I get.

CubeIDE can be pretty arcane with all the build settings and configurations — but it looks like the repo was missing the .cproject, .mxproject and .project files that hold the build configurations and other necessary project configs, as well as some HAL driver files, oops! 😅 Fixed here.

I just tested with a fresh clone and it seemed to work, check out these instructions, and let me know if it doesn't work!

thank you SO much.
Yes it worked perfectly well thanks to your effort and the manual.
Now I only have the issue, that the yellow LED's I bought are blue ... ;).
Will have a word with the seller.
They are a bit dim, but it works now perfectly well.

Are you aware, that your project was mentioned in the latest (2/2024) MAKE-magazine (I guess you are)?
If you want to drop a note there for the update?
