  • Measure the performance overhead of the process rewriting.
  • Measure the overhead of using a tmpfs RAM disk.

Create a tmpfs dir:

❯ mkdir root
❯ sudo mount tmpfs ./root -t tmpfs -o size=1G
... Do the dump/restore here ...
❯ sudo umount ./root
