ext:supi v6.2.3 throws error in TYPO3 v12.4.9

Problem

• supi 6.2.3 is compatible with TYPO3 12.x according to https://packagist.org/packages/supseven/supi#v6.2.3
• but throws following error:

Too few arguments to function TYPO3\CMS\Extbase\Mvc\Request::__construct(), 0 passed in /var/www/html/vendor/supseven/supi/Classes/Rendering/BannerRenderer.php on line 137 and exactly 1 expected

TYPO3 12 LTS support?

Do we support TYPO3 12.4 LTS with supi 6.x PLUS 7.x?

If yes: a fix+ v6-release is necessary

If not: version constraints needs to be adopted, a new v6 release needs to be published, plus docs needs to be added as mentioned in #36 (comment).

In our internal discussion on 18.1.2024 we came to the conclusion that supi v6 will not support TYPO3 12 anymore.
