New project: after creation from template, main.tact should be shown

I checked but couldn’t replicate the issue. After creating a project using the "New Project" popup or selecting from the Tact template list, main.tact opened automatically. Could you help me reproduce the issue?

Understood. The issue occurs when an existing project with open tabs is present, and we attempt to create a new project. In this scenario, the new project fails to open default file. I'll fix it.
