Thank you for this incredible piece of software. I am an economic historian trying to OCR thousands of photographs I took in the archives, and using your tool for pre-processing has greatly improved the accuracy of later OCR-table extraction.
Like others, I was wondering if you would be able to implement features that would make the process easier to use with multiple documents. Such as:
allowing a way to write commands that would loop the executable over all images within a folder.
allowing the user to right-click an image that would give the user the option to implement the dewarper.
giving the user a GUI.
Any work in this direction would be fantastically helpful.
Also, is there any way to automatically crop the black border that forms around the document?
Anyways, looking forward to seeing how this project develops.
