FYI we are wanting to centralizing the implementation status on the future TC39 website: https://github.com/tc39/tc39-web-draft.

WebStorm ticket for the minimal proposal: https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/WEB-39247, will be available in version 2019.2 (the original ticket is left to track the progress, as the spec is still unsettled).

The proposal has advanced to stage 2 with Hack-style syntax, and the Babel impl is documented in the README (at https://babeljs.io/docs/en/babel-plugin-proposal-pipeline-operator).

Is it valuable to keep this open with updated tooling status?

Maybe we should put this in a wiki page that anyone can edit.

I created an up-to-date wiki page for tooling, which anyone can edit. We should probably close this issue and defer to that wiki page. I’ll wait a day before doing so.
