Override system theme

I tried to use the theme-controlled. It works if my system is set to lightmode. But if my system is set to darkmode, the theme-controller does not work. Is this a expected behaviour?

System: MacOs 14.2.1
Browser: Chrome 131.0.6778.265 (arm)

The issue you’re experiencing is expected behavior. This happens because, in the code below, the theme value is explicitly set to "dark." When your system is already in dark mode by default, changing the theme using this controller may not have any visible effect.
