When using impact to program a connected SPI flash the program prints buffer size exceeded. The programming of the flash fails but impact displays programming succeeded.
The used board was a minispartan6+ with a spartan6 lx25 and a W25Q80BV SPI flash. The length of the data was 8624 with results in nr_bytes of 1079 and therefore a the read would be larger than the buffer.
