- Windows 7 or higher (32-bit or 64-bit)
- .Net Framework 4.5
- Make sure all the files and folders in the folder with the TriggersPC executable are in the same location. You cannot rename them or else Trigger's PC will not be able to find them.
- Make sure you have .NET Framework 4.5 installed. If you're not sure if you have it installed just search for a download and the official website should pop up and install it again.
- Make sure your antivirus is cooperating with the program. There has already been one instance of someone's antivirus preventing the program from even opening.
- This program will not work if you are using Q-Dir. If you don't know what this is then it's not relevant.
All 6 games for Gen 3 are supported in Trigger's PC.
Save Types
- Flash 64KB or Flash 128KB Battery files for GBA Games (includes 136KB for an SD card format)
- 384KB (+64 with GCI Data) GCI files for Colosseum Games
- 344KB (+64 with GCI Data) GCI files for XD Games
- 472KB (+64 with GCI Data) GCI files for Pokémon Box Games
Languages
- All language games should be supported but there are some minor flaws with them.
- Games in Japanese must be specifically flagged as Japanese by the user in the save Manager.
- Any Pokémon with a non-English name will not have it's name correctly updated when evolving and such.
- Mail in other languages will not have the Easy Chat translated, however this happens in the Pokémon games as well.
ROM Hacks
- Use ROM Hacks in Trigger's PC at your own risk. (They won't mess up you're other saves but their saves can be messed up)
- Support depends on the hack. If a ROM hack modifies too much of the game's save format then it's unlikely to work.
- ROM Hacks with different Pokémon, Moves, or Items may load but may show incorrect data or cause corruption to your save.
- If a ROM Hack removes any of the features that Trigger's PC can modify in a save then corruption to that portion of the save file is likely.
- If an error window pops up, copy the exception error from the message box and post it on Project Pokémon, GitHub Issues, or through a private message in any medium. If you are posting it on the forum page make sure to use spoiler tags to condense the lengthy wall of text.
- Leave a description of what you were doing and see if you can reproduce the problem and provide instructions if you can.
- If the error is Pokemon related it's usually helpful to provide what game types that are being used when this happens. Aka Your PC, GBA, Colosseum, XD, or Pokémon Box R&S. Be specific if you're moving Pokemon from one game to another. and specify which is from and which is to.
- If you believe this is a problem with your save specifically then it would be appreciated if you supply the save in a download to use for testing.
- It's still recommended to report a bug even if it has been reported before. It may help provide more information on what's causing it.
