Need help installing and setting textbelt up #120

Hi sorry if I bothering anyone, I am new to linux in general and am learning as i go. I was wondering if someone could give me step by step directions to setup this whole thing up. I just AT&T for my carrier. I know they offer a email version of this just to text other AT&T phones. I don't want that since some of my friends and family are on different carriers and networks. Can you help me please?

You should monitor issue #77. Unfortunately there hasn't really been much progress on that.
