Bug: Sliders do not work

The 3 sliders on the main screen do not work. The round button moves but the value doesn't change and the boxes don't show the expected effects, so the slider position seems to have become detached from it's value.

@john-rocky this is the same bug I reported earlier on Slack. These used to work correctly, so it's possible they got broken in a PR recently.

I fixed an issue where itemcount was not being respected in landscape mode on the develop branch. The slider now works properly.
