continue wip started in pr uscuni/simplification#133 - aim is to not have a hard cut-off for single values, but to find a way to derive threshold values based on the input network. will probably be a bananas-like solution. suggestion from my side: it will probably be easier to address circle-type (cloverleaf) and rectangle-type (dual carriageway) separately with different threshold combinations
