Seeing this in the PHP container logs:

2024-04-16 20:19:45.042 +0000 (538 538) error: newrelic.transaction_tracer.enabled must be enabled in order to use distributed tracing. Occurred 1 times.

The following environment variables are set:

  NEWRELIC_BROWSER_MONITORING_ENABLED: 'false'
  NEWRELIC_DISTRIBUTED_TRACING_ENABLED: 'true'
  NEWRELIC_ENABLED: 'true'
  NEWRELIC_LICENSE: KEYGOESINHEREFFFNRAL

From reading

I believe we need the following set when NEWRELIC_DISTRIBUTED_TRACING_ENABLED == true

newrelic.transaction_tracer.enabled = true
newrelic.distributed_tracing_enabled = true
