Hello,
there is a wiki for developers: https://github.com/vassela/AC2RD/wiki/Developer-guide
Initially, AC2RD was developed under Eclipse + ADT, but it is possible to integrate the source code in Android Studio in a similar way to that described in the wiki (I did not write the procedure for that, but I tested, and the source code compiled without error, and the software worked properly on smartphone.).
