#812 changes the name of the plugin driver from vmdk to vsphere (for the ESX platform). But, still retains the default driver name as "vmdk" (both in startup/service scripts and in test code). Just so existing users aren't impcated for now.

This issue is to completely deprecate the "vmdk" driver name and switch to using the "vsphere" driver name.

#812 will handle this for 0.12 itself. Hence closing this one.
