Description of Behavior

This behavior applies to several tests, see results below.
To discuss: how should a tester deal with screen reader’s help messages?

Test Setup

Review Conflicts for "Navigate forwards to a slider"

  1. Unexpected Behaviors for "Control+Option+Right, then Control+Option+Right" Command

    • Tester IsaDC recorded output " Red 128 Red slider You are currently on a slider. To start interacting with the slider, press Control-Option-Shift-Down Arrow." and noted no unexpected behavior.
    • Tester dylansheffer recorded output "Red 128 Red slider You are currently on a slider. To start interacting with the slider, press Control-Option-Shift-Down Arrow." and noted "Output is excessively verbose, e.g., includes redundant and/or irrelevant speech".
  2. Unexpected Behaviors for "Tab" Command

    • Tester IsaDC recorded output " 128 Red slider You are currently on a slider. To start interacting with the slider, press Control-Option-Shift-Down Arrow." and noted no unexpected behavior.
    • Tester dylansheffer recorded output "128 Red slider You are currently on a slider. To start interacting with the slider, press Control-Option-Shift-Down Arrow." and noted "Output is excessively verbose, e.g., includes redundant and/or irrelevant speech".
