Throughout the Game World there are many NPCs for the player to interact with. There are three main categories of non-playing characters (NPCs), these are: Prospective Students (like the player), Undergraduate Students and Graduates. The player has slightly different interaction options with the different NPCs, and can converse with them using pre-set questions that have dialogue from real women in engineering. The questions not only different between categories of NPCs but also between different NPCs within each category.

The player is able to ask NPCs the same question as many times as they wish, and can choose to interact with as many and as few NPCs as they desire. While the interaction with the NPCs are pre-set, it allows the player to experience networking in a virtual environment which is good practice for networking in the real world.

Prospective Students

The player is able to ask the Prospective students the following questions:

  1. What have you learnt?
  2. Why do you want to choose engineering?
  3. What specialisation are you thinking of doing?

Undergraduate Students

The player is able to ask Undergraduate students the following questions:

  1. Why did you choose engineering?
  2. What was your biggest concerns coming into it?
  3. Any advice?

Graduates (Engineers in Industry/Academia)

The player is able to ask graduate engineers, either Women in Industry or in Academia the following questions:

  1. Why did you choose your specialization?
  2. What is the most useful skill you have learnt throughout your degree and industry experience?
  3. What has surprised you most about this degree?
  4. In retrospect, is there anything you wish you knew before you went into engineering/?
  5. Any advice?
