What is your idea?
Support the documentation of other common programming languages, and/or work with those communities to add semi-official community support.
It would be nice if common incode docformats like xml comments or python docstrings could be integrated with little effort, like specifying a language and folder in the
astro.config.mjs
file where one cat put those files so astro starlight indexes them and adds the structure to the sites content using a similar strategy as sidebarautogenerate: {directory: "x"}
.Why is this feature necessary?
This would help developers and vendors of libraries and frameworks to provide higher quality code documentation with little to no extra effort when integrating docs in astro using CI. It would also create feature parity to the language specific documentation framework, putting astro frimly ahead when combined with it's existing features and niceties.
