Installed via Homebrew, in case that matters. "About Meld" shows version 3.21.0.osx3.

Once I open the Preferences window, there doesn't seem to be a way to get rid of it short of doing a Force Quit on the whole Meld process. Clicking on the close/minimize/maximize buttons don't seem to do anything.
