Hi, I don't know if doing an issue is the good place to contact you about this, but the meld install from brew is disabled since a week : https://formulae.brew.sh/cask/meld

Hi @yhru,

You can install a new version (v3.22.1) with brew install --cask dehesselle-meld.
The repository for that is at: https://gitlab.com/dehesselle/meld_macos/-/releases

Regards, Antoine

The repo seems abandoned.

The author of this repo @yousseb has unfortunately not been able to work on maintaining it over the last couple of years, which is a shame because he had put a lot of work in, but at least he managed to attract a good following of mac folk to love using meld.

In the meantime, people have been collaborating with the upstream GNOME Meld project to try and get a macOS beta build based on the upstream code, and in fact there seem to be regular builds going into the dehesselle-meld cask, like the new v3.22.3. Please bear in mind that if you do use that cask, issues should be reported to the main upstream repo https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/meld/-/issues

Thanks for sharing this.
It's a pity, I liked the work of @yousseb.
