Describe the bug
Turning on a tunnel sometimes (or rather, most of the times) either doesn't work or it takes multiple seconds. With 3.6.6, it was reliable and instantaneous.

Smartphone (please complete the following information):

  • Device: Pixel 8
  • Android Version: 15
  • App Version 3.7.0
  • Backend: Userspace

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

Try to enable a tunnel.

Expected behavior

Screenshots (Only if necessary)

Additional context
I did try cleaning app data, also reinstalling from a different source (Play Store -> GitHub Release), but it didn't help.
Here's logs from where I tried enabling tunnels multiple times, sometimes it worked sometimes it didn't:
logcat_1741700019493.txt

Reverting to 3.6.6 fixes these issues.

I had a look at #609 where the device & android version is the same however the errors are different and also my tunnel is IPv4.

I'm having the same issue, Autotunnel isn't reliable in starting or stopping the tunnel. At first I thought it was because of the app kill switch settings I was trying out, but the problem persists after reverting those.
