Version 4.00 now available !!

Consult the 70-pages User guide to see all changes / features added to the previous version. As mentioned previously, Version 4.00 adds Remote control, Night light, Dice rolling, Passive piezo buzzer support driven by PWM (buzzer must be installed by user), Calendar events now with jingles, Device checking on power-up, and more goodies...

Just realized that two lines were left commented-out at the beginning of the "main()" function... "matrix_test()" and "pixel_twinkling()". You may want to make these two lines active for a better startup experience.

Do you use this version of the firmware? Do you like it? What are the features you appreciate the most? Did you find some bugs? Did you improve the firmware? Did you add some more features? Let me know, I’m curious!

This project provides firmware for the "Pico Green Clock" product from Waveshare (available from Amazon). It is based on a Raspberry Pi Pico micro-controller.

Waveshare provides a basic firmware (Version 1.00) for the Pico Green clock. Current project adds tons of comments in the code and also provides many enhancements and functionalities to the clock. There are too many things added to be listed here. You may refer to the user guide of the most recent version (included in this repository), and / or to the revision history in the source code to see the list of changes / enhancements.
