Summary

optimize conversion of nested vectors to arrays
improve BFS traversal efficiency
avoid unnecessary string copies in compression helpers
fix CI artifact conflicts and add build dependencies
add shebangs to helper scripts and clean up requirements files

Testing

./run_test.sh (fails: could not install build dependencies)
./run_profile.sh (fails: could not install build dependencies)


          Fix CI configuration and script headers
