Description:

Expense tracker is a web application which allows users to #, create account, and start managing your personal expenses at your fingertips.

• client - React.js as frontend
• server - Node.js-Express as backend

Technologies used:

• Front-End: React.js and Vanilla CSS
• Back-End: Node.js / Express.js
• Authenticaion: JWT
• Database: MongoDB (Mongoose ORM)

Installation:

• Clone the repository
• CD into the repository and run npm install
• Create a mongodb database on mongodb atlas
• Create a file named .env :
  PORT=
  JWT_SECRET=
• Run npm start for frontend and npm run dev for backend
