#levenshtein-benchmark
Simple benchmark for diffrent levenshtein algorithms using real-life data
npm install levenshtein-benchmark
var benchmark = require('levenshtein-benchmark');
var editdistance = require("editdistance");
function Dis(str1) {
this._dis = editdistance(str1);
}
Dis.prototype.distance = function (str2) {
return this._dis.distance(str2);
}
var bench = benchmark(Dis);
bench.on('progress', function (key) {
console.log('finished parsing ' + key + '.html');
});
bench.on('result', function (stat) {
console.log(stat.mean().toPrecision(6) + ' ms/file ± ' + stat.sd().toPrecision(6));
});
Where stat
is a Summary object.
You can also just run npm test
, that will benchmark all the modules listed
in the wrapper
directory. Note that you will need to install the dev-dependencies
first.
cd htmlparser-benchmark
