Releases: Archomeda/lightfx-extender
v0.5.2
v0.5.1
Changes from v0.5.0:
- Hardware - Corsair:
- Fixed an issue where Corsair was loaded when it wasn't available on the system, and not loaded when it was available on the system
- Hardware - Lightpack:
- Fixed an issue where Lightpack was loaded even though it wasn't available on the system
Please note:
This is still a beta version. Don't expect everything to work flawlessly. If you encounter a bug, please report it.
v0.5.0
Changes from v0.4.1:
- General:
- Games - Guild Wars 2:
- Fixed vector out of range exception when using team color support
- Fixed black activity team color when using team color support (#16)
- Hardware - Alienware:
- Improved logging for debugging purposes
- Fixed various detection problems
- Fixed various initialization problems
- Fixed an issue where the library wasn't being unloaded
- Hardware - Logitech:
- Updated SDK (#20)
- LightFX Extender now catches the error instead of crashing when there's no color to be set, but updating has been requested (still unknown why this actually happens)
Note to Corsair users:
Corsair support is not working if you were using v0.4.1 and LightFX Extender has updated itself automatically. This is an issue in the auto-updater where the files "CUESDK_2013.dll" or "CUESDK.x64_2013.dll" is not being copied (depending on whether it's 32-bit or 64-bit). Support for this has been added in v0.5.0, this means that the next versions will have Corsair support when auto-updating from v0.5.0 and onwards. If you need Corsair support now, you have to download LightFX Extender manually.
Please note:
This is still a beta version. Don't expect everything to work flawlessly. If you encounter a bug, please report it.
v0.4.1
Changes from v0.4.0:
- Added a configurable workaround for a LED color bug that exists in Logitech G110 devices
- Added a balloon notification when an update is available
- When trying to enable a device through the notification icon, but it fails, it now shows a message box indicating that instead of failing silently
- Added a back up name for the lights of Alienware devices when no name has been set explicitly
- Changed the way how colors are being updated on devices, it should be more consistent now when using more than one device
- Fixed loading Alienware's LightFX.dll
- Fixed a small memory leak when using Alienware devices
Please note:
This is a beta version. Don't expect everything to work flawlessly. If you encounter a bug, please report it.
v0.4.0
Changes from v0.3.0:
- Added support for Alienware LightFX devices
- Devices that are not found will now be hidden in the tray icon
- Fixed the pulse and morph animations to be more like Alienware's
- More configuration options
Breaking change:
Because there are some new configurations, the location of some options in the file have been changed. This means that you have to check settings.json after applying this update to see if everything is still correct.
Please note:
This is a beta version. Don't expect everything to work flawlessly. If you encounter a bug, please report it.
v0.3.0
Changes from v0.2.5:
- Support for 64-bit games
- Improved light animations: timelines
- New timeline: walk (only used as a secondary animation option for GW2 team color detection)
Somewhat breaking change:
Since there are x86 and x64 builds now, the auto updater might fail to update to this version. It should work just fine, but it is untested.
Please note:
This is a beta version. Don't expect everything to work flawlessly. If you encounter a bug, please report it.
