This repository contains the solution for the CS310 DBMS class hackathon held on 04/02/2022. The hackathon focused on designing a database for a Swimming Pool management system. Students were tasked with creating both a Conceptual Data Model (ERD) and a Physical Data Model based on the given problem statement.

Problem Statement

The problem statement revolved around designing a database to manage information about users enrolled in swim classes. Students were provided with the schema for various relations (tables) and attributes and were required to create both a Conceptual and Physical Data Model.

Contents

  • Problem_Statement.pdf: Contains the detailed problem statement provided during the hackathon.
  • 20bcs020_DBMS.pdf: File containing the solutions to the questions posed in the problem statement. Screenshots of the Conceptual Data Model (ERD) and Physical Data Model (ERD) created using online tools or DBMS software designed based on the given rules and assumptions.

How to Use

Viewers can refer to the provided documents to understand the problem statement, view the conceptual and physical data models, and analyze the solutions provided.
