Plot Variables

Once you've loaded at least one variable, you can plot it by performing the following steps:

  1. Select a Graphic Option: here let's choose "boxfill", then select "a_robinson_boxfill" to plot the data using a Robinson projection of the Earth.
  2. Select a Layout Template: we'll choose the "default" for this example.
  3. Click on the blue "Plot" button in the upper left and the plot should display in a new panel on the right.

To save the plot as a .png, .svg, .pdf, or .ps file, click on the blue "Save" button. The image will be saved to the directory from which you launched the JupyterLab interface.
